What to Expect

Arriving at Fierce Church

When you arrive at Fierce for a Christmas Eve service, one of our volunteers will help direct you where to park. When you enter the building, you’ll find signs directing you to the “worship experience.” If you have kids, you’ll also find bright signs directing you to Fierce Kids. Once you enter the main service area, feel free to sit wherever you’d like.

Service

The service will last about 60 minutes.

It will begin with about 20 minutes of music from our live band. The words of the songs will be projected onto large screens. Many people will sing along, but feel free to participate as you feel comfortable. One of our leaders will then share a lesson from the Bible related to Christmas. At some point, we take an offering of financial gifts. This offering is for those who call Fierce Church their home. As our guest, you’re not expected to give any money. That decision is totally up to you. We’ve been blessed with many opportunities to serve the needs of our community, and through the generosity of the church members, we can meet those needs.

Where do my kids go?

We are so excited to welcome your kids to Fierce Kids, where kids come to discover, meet, and experience Jesus!

Know you’re coming? Pre-register your kids here for easy check in!

Kids are welcome in the main service as well if you’d rather keep your kiddos with you.

What should I wear?

Whatever you want! We’re pretty casual.

Will I have to identify myself or be called out?

We want you to feel welcome at Fierce Church. We’re excited to give you a VIP experience (including a fresh cookie!) but we also recognize that you might want to check us out under the radar. You’ll never be asked to stand up, identify yourself, do the hokey-pokey, or anything else that might make you feel uncomfortable.

Am I expected to give money?

As our guest, we do not expect any money from you.  We will have an offering during the service, but we encourage you to let the baskets pass you by. The offering is a way for the Fierce Church family to respond to God and join the mission of the church through their giving. If you’re new, we don’t expect you to give. Our service is a gift to you.

If you do consider Fierce Church your church home, we’d love for you to prayerfully consider regular giving. Check out giving options at fierce.church/give.

Hey, Dave!

I don’t know if you guys typically go to church on Christmas Eve, but you and Catie are always welcome to come to ours!

There are a few services this year:
December 23rd from 7:00 to 8:30pm
December 24th from 11:00am to 12:30pm

More info on their website: fierce.church/christmas.

Joe and I are bringing the kids to the 11am service on the 24th and could save you a seat!

It’d be nice to see you guys 🙂 Either way, Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Give Catie a hug from me. 🙂

Dear Jess,

I know we haven’t talked in a while, but I was thinking about you recently and wanted to extend the invite to come to my church on Christmas Eve.

I know it’s been a rough year, and you must be missing your dad so much. 🙁 I know for me, church can feel like a safe haven when nothing else seems to be making much sense. ❤️

We’ll be going to the 7:00pm service on the 23rd, if you’d like us to save you a seat. We’d love to see you! There are two services total: 12/23 at 7pm, and 12/24 at 11am.

More info on their website, fierce.church/christmas.

We’d love to save you a seat. ❤️
